A message of Short-Lived Ceasefire of Afghanistan
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on 9 June announced the ceasefire with Taliban. There was a ceasefire for few days and it was a historical relief for Afghanistan. Taliban first time in its history accepted such initiative. But, it ends within a couple of days. It is quite difficult to say, what went wrong? Every element involves in Afghanistan want peace, but it will be with their own conditions. Afghanistan is in a tough of war in between the US and China-Pakistan Factor. The imbalance between these two factors may be the reason behind this failure of the ceasefire. ...........
