A few days back, the first round of talks between the USA and Taliban held in Doha. First time since the invasion in Afghanistan, the USA held a formal talk with Taliban. In Doha, both sides have agreed for a framework of the peace process. It may be helpful for the USA’s retreat. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on 9 June announced the ceasefire with Taliban. There was a ceasefire for few days and it was a historical relief for Afghanistan. Taliban first time in its history accepted such initiative. But, it ends within a couple of days. It is quite difficult to say, what went wrong? Every element involves in Afghanistan want peace, but it will be with their own conditions. Afghanistan is in a tough of war in between the US and China-Pakistan Factor.
